Best route Phoenix to Rancho Santa Fe (No of San Diego)

Any suggestions as to merits of I8 vs I10 route for travel with a 26' TT?
Both routes are about the same distance but traffic & elevations may differ.
Will be traveling 2 days before xgiving

When I lived in San Diego for 27 years, we always used I-8 to Gila Bend ,,then north to I-10 then to Phoenix. less Traffic than I-10, Hwy 74 then 1-15. Sister-in-Law and family live in west Phoenix, so we visited at least 3 times a year.

Just drove IS 8

We went form Apache Junction down 10 to IS8 and on to Yuma yesterday. I don't know how 8 is past Yuma but to their it was on of the smootenst Interstates I have been on for a while.

Hope this helps a bit
