Best Rv campground guides

I am looking for the best Rv campground guide. I use the internet for locating best Rv campgrounds but would like a hard copy. Looking at the good Sam guide. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I used to use Woodall and AAA campground guidebooks.
I've found that the Internet is much better.
I can get more info, reviews and pics.
I no longer use hard copies.

RVParky app on my phone has become my favorite. Seems to show them all and will search nearby or wherever you want.

If traveling the difference between a good campground and a bad one is just one night. So we don't worry much about that.

If staying more than a night we rely on our old Woodalls book. The new book dropped about 1/2 the campgrounds when Good SAMs bought Woodalls out.

I usually use the all stays app , especially since they now link directly to reserve America availability when you touch the campground on map view.

RV Park and Camping guides - online

We like RV Parky, AllStays and Campendium, so far. (all end in .com)
Mostly use in that order.
All Stays, and Campendium are strong for primitive sites, boondocking and Forest Service as well as BLM and Corps of Engineers sites.
Simplicity is great with RV Parky - and the journal tab allows one to input info from the other sites when direct links from RV Parky don't have.

campgroundreviews.com
This allows you to select State & town and then also shows you additional towns within a short distance.

That's wierd, I just picked up a AAA campground book for Cape Cod and it is a Woodall's book! AAA might have also bought into their action.

Joe...in answer to YOUR question...I agree that the Good Sam Guide is the best hard copy guide out there now. With Good Sam Membership I got mine for $7 which is pretty hard to beat...and the membersip pays for itself easily.
I don't use it much...but my DW likes it...I prefer the online apps others have noted...but when you can't get cell service the print version can come in handy.

"RV Park Reviews" on the internet. Rates campgrounds, has the campground website and if you are looking in a particular area, it shows RV parks in surrounding cities. It is an excellent resource tool.

If you are active duty military, Civil Service or retired military (plus a few specified groups such as disabled vets), "ALLSTAYS C-RV Military" can't be beat. Shows all the military bases, posts, ports, etc. (active, joint base, National Guard) with web sites, commissary/BX availability and even what gate RVs are to enter at. Can't be beat.

Ditto for Allstays. I used to lug around a bunch of heavy campground books; mentioned in previous posts, that also took up premium space. I realized that I was rarely opening them up- mostly just using the internet instead. Most of these books stay at home now for advance planning ideas.

On the road I use RV Parky. Planning for a week or more stay I use the Good Sam book and then search for reviews of choices online.
