Campgrounds/Parks along the Colorado River AZ/CA

Looking for your suggestions about good parks or campgrounds north/or south of Lake Havesu. What I might check out, or what to avoid. Thinking about 1 month after December. Thanks in advance.

Good luck finding anything that time of the year (snow birds)...They come down from the North by the thousands....After looking and calling finally found a spot near Parker, Az. end of Feb. Its gotten so bad now that you have to begin looking a year in advance..But happy hunting.....

There are several AZ State Parks along the River and I think they are all really nice. We stayed at Lake Havasu and Buckskin SPs last January and really like them. Kayaked the river right from the campground.
