Camping suggestion on Lake Mead?

Hello, I am travelling from Zion NP to Las Vegas late June with kids (7&9). I was thinking of stopping by Lake Mead and Hoover Dam for two nights before hitting the big city. Any suggestions on a campsite that offers electric (to run AC) and easy water access for swimming, fishing, and floating on water toys? Is it worth taking Rt 169 down from Zion or stay on I 15? Any other suggestions for this leg of the journey? Thank you!

As for the "big city" of Lost Wages, we always park our TT at Sam's Town RV park. It's a large park and for the most part pretty quiet for being right near the strip.
