what would the best route be for driving a 5th wheel from Caspar, WY to Sundance, WY? Thank you in advance.

Just pick a line that will get you to Wright, Wy and then north to Gillette. Lots of open prairie but the roads are good. Flat as a pancake so there are no tough pulls. I haven't been through there since 1979 though.

Highway 59 out of Wright to Gillette has more passing lanes. I made the route last year using both routes. The route through Wright is better IMHO.

Easy country.
Watch out for livestock and wildlife on the roads. Those are the biggest hazards.
