We are heading to Long Beach/llwaco that weekend. Should be a good one.

Hatchet, have you ever stayed at the Blu Shastin on the Hiway 97 cutoff road south east of Leavenworth? That place was actually pretty nice.

We'll have to check into the facility you are going to.

Here in the North/East it is going to nice all week end, mid 70's by day and 50's by night. I think Monday will be a little warmer.
We are headed out to day after work.

We're headed up to Lake George for the weekend. The kids are off on both Friday and Monday so we'll have a four day weekend. The drive is about 5 and half hours so it isn't too awfully bad. What should be interesting is that it is my wife and I along with our 13 year old twin girls and two of their friends. We'll see how well I survive with four 13 year old girls in an RV.

I'm bummed - we are staying home for Columbus Day Weekend.

Our Wirehaired Vizsla - Sophie - had total hip replacement surgery a little over two weeks ago. We have to keep her confined in her crate with very minimal activity for two months.

So that means no camping for us until December. We had to cancel trips this month and next month to give her time to recuperate.

Ouch, know how you feel, we have two black Labs and Rufus ( the young one at 7 ) decided to eat a Rock the size of a golf Ball 6 weeks ago.. Low and behold it wouldn't pass from the Large intestine to the small ( blockage) and he was in allot of pain.. Wife took him the the animal emergency hospital and $3000 later he's fine, There my kids, but if he does it again he had better chit it out
