Couer D'Alene RV Parks

DW and our three dogs (one German Shepherd sweetie) heading to NW next summer. Need some suggestions on suitable RV Parks nearby that accept 40" 5'er and our sweetheart dogs. So far, only found a state fairgrounds near Kootenay. Any help would be awesome. Heading out in June through mid-July!

Can’t give any personal experience as I live close by so haven’t camped there but I have heard good things about this place. Not sure on dogs, forgot to look when I opened the parks website.

They have a pet beach area, so it appears dogs may be welcome. On the rates page it states German Shepherds and a couple others are restricted.

A couple other places that are a little further away, Silverwood Theme Park has an RV park as well as Farragut State Park. Both are about 30 minutes north of Coeur d'Alene.

We stay at the KOA in Spokane Valley when we are over there. There are tracks near by, but they haven't really bothered us. Our German Shepherd sweetie liked it there.

Good call on Farragut, spent lots of time there as a kid. Six of us in a 17’ trailer.

Blakwell Island RV Park

Blackwell Island RV Park is a great park. We stayed there in Couer D'Alene in August 2019 for a week. On the water ot the Spokane River, walking or bike riding into Downtown and several parks.

Coeur d'Alene RV parks

We have stayed at Blackwell Island RV Park several times. Beautiful park literally a mile from downtown Dd'A. It easily accommodated our 36' MH with toad attached. Very clean, try to get a space on the Spokane River. We don't have pets, but they have a large dog walk area as well as a dock on the river.
Definitely your best choice if you want to be near town.

The parks mentioned above are all several miles out of town, all very nice but they are mostly state parks, not RV parks. Depends on what you are looking for. Has good TV and internet, full hookups.

I live in Cd'A RV Resort in Post Falls Id. They can handle all you asked about but I would call for reservations. They have playgrounds, common areas, pool, spa, dog walking areas. About a block from Wal Mart and numerous business plus hospital, doctors around 1.5 miles (appox.)

We've stayed at CDL RV Resort in Post Falls, ID and at Wild Rose RV Park in Colbert, WA. Both are nice, both should fit your rig, though I'd lean toward Wild Rose, especially with your little furry buddies. They have a garden where you are welcome to pick whatever is available at the time. Enjoy.

We've stayed at Ravenwood a couple of times. It's about a mile from Silverwood.
