Diesel fuel along the 101?

We would like to go up the coast on US Hwy 101 from San Francisco to Washington and, from other threads, the trip appears to be fine for larger rigs. My question is related to finding large rv friendly diesel stops along the route. Did a check of truck stop using "Allstays" app. and did not find anything listed. This has me and dw concerned.
Anyone out there have experience/knowledge related to adequate diesel options available? Appreciate any help/advise.

diesel logging trucks have been driving it for decades so diesel is available.

Load GasBuddy, it will show you more of the gas stations and prices.

We drove a chunk of 101 from Lincoln City, OR to San Francisco and didn't have any issues finding fuel.

We were 60' bumper to bumper: 22' truck and 42' fifth wheel.

I couldn't tell you where specifically we got fuel at, but I can tell you it's doable.

Do a Google Search, "truck stops US 101" You will see many of them available

I agree about GasBuddy which I find more useful than Allstays. If I locate a desired fuel stop in advance I view it in Google Earth to see any potential in/out problems.

I have towed up and down The 101. Diesel fuel is readily available all along the way.

Diesel fuel on 101

The best price you will find will be at the Costco in Rohnert Park. Rohnert Park Expressway off 101. Easy on and off. Diesel on all islands. Suggest lane 1 so you can drive straight out. I have found that the Pilot/Flying J truck stops are usually higher in cost than the local stations. Gas Buddy is good but have found that they list diesel when in fact there is no a pump. Call ahead to be sure. Safe travels

Red face

Thanks to all of you that replied. It makes us more comfortable knowing we shouldn't be on the side of the road empty!

Plenty of fuel (gas & diesel) on the OR and WA stretches. Heard tell that OR has changed it's laws to allow you to pump your own fuel in counties with less than 40,000 population. Fuel will not be a problem, but traffic will. The coastal hwy is a prime recreation destination in the summer months. You will experience lots of traffic at the towns along the way. Two years ago it took us over 30 minutes to get through Seaside, OR (of Lewis & Clark fame), due to heavy tourist traffic and stop lights. If you're not in a hurry it's a beautiful drive.

Our truck only has a 26 gallon main tank. That does not get you too far at 11 MPG. I was always hunting fuel.

Before I installed an Aux Tank I carried two 5 gallon cans in the bed of the truck, to keep me from being empty on the side of the road.

The Aux tank, at 39 gallons, now gives me a total of 65 and I am not worried near as much. It also gives me the ability to pick and choose where I get fuel so we can save a bit of money. Pilot, Flying J, Loves, TA, Buckies they are all convenient, but VERY expensive
