Trip #2 for the new land yacht. We decided to stay close to home this weekend and try out campground hookups this time instead of
boondocking on BLM land like we did two weeks ago. Now I'm admittedly not a fan of campgrounds, but this was a remarkably pleasant spot and it was kind of nice to just plug into electricity and water. I was grateful for the shelter of the trailer when a severe thunderstorm blew through on Saturday afternoon, but otherwise the weather was fine with highs around 70 and lows around 40. I don't think that the girls were too thrilled with being leashed most of the time (just one reason that I'm not a campground fan), but they got the chance to run through the fields behind our trailer's spot and do a bit of swimming in the lake, too, so I doubt that they're too upset.
Shortly before the storm on Saturday.
Mere moments before the skies opened, the girls got to run.
A pleasant Sunday morning.
