Four Corners

Planning a trip to four corners during the month of June. I am leaving from the Murrieta area, in Riverside County, Ca. I plan on headed towards Laughlin (I-15 to I-40) and stay over night there. After I leave Laughlin and head back to I-40, I will transition onto the 89, and 160. I have traveled on I-40 several times, but never on the 89 or 160. I will be towing a fifth wheel, are those two highways in good condition, and are there services on the two. I hope this RV season is a safe and fun one for all. Thanks in advance.

We just went made a trip there last month when visiting Monument Valley. Came home the way you are going. The Arizona highways are less than the best in many areas along the 160 and the 89 south of Page. The northern route through Saint George was better and prettier as far as desertscapes. But you have to deal with Vegas traffic.

we've traveled them a few times and they are just like any other two lane roads. there is fuel several places along the way but they may be 60 or miles apart. places like flagstaff, cameron, tuba city, and kayenta. be prepared for miles and miles of wide open land.

No problem Al with your 5th wheel.
I'm heading up to that area in May for 2 weeks and I have a 38ft motorhome and toad behind.

My base camp will be in Virgin Utah the I will use the car in Zion NP and around. Then on to Lake Powell and Wahweap Campground then heading south.
Take it easy and enjoy the views. You will find many RVers doing the same route.

Nothing difficult about the roads in those areas. Be aware of Reservation land and public land ownership.
