Hells Gate State park, Lewiston Idaho.

Camped here two nights separate times last week. Was always able to get a site without reservations but better book ahead on a busy weekend. Right on the Snake River, with a swimming area, marina, discovery/cultural center, lots of wildlife (including skunks, yuck). Long bike/walking trails that will take you all the way into town. A gem of a state park, nice pull through a and back in sites with great amenities. Click image for larger version
