Highway 93 in Arizona

Has anyone traveled Highway 93 from Interstate 40 to Wickenburg, AZ. We are pulling a Flagstaff 27RLWS, and would like to know what shape that road is in before we go there.
Thanks

Generally good and some brand new. It is becoming a new interstate highway. Some rougher spots as you get closer to Wickenburg, but nothing bad. I would consider it a good road. Gas up first. A couple of stations in Wikieup, but expensive.

I used it in June this year, good road IMO fuel was no issue in Wikieup and lots of places to stop if you want.

Very good road. Lots of long grades, but good road. Pull our 35' 5ver on this road between Phoenix and Kingman every year.

HWY 93

Depending on what you are pulling it is a very good road. There are only a few 2 lane blacktop sections left, and every inch is interesting. If you do geocaching, stop at Nowhere.
A couple of long grades to climb, but not bad. If you pull through at night, there is a turn out that fills with big rigs, and sometimes one is parked with his tail sticking onto the highway. Also this is on a corner, so you don't really see it until you are blasting past it. Wickiup has a pie restaurant just north of town, and a "gift shop" type store at the south end of town. Nice RV park, on the west side of the highway in the center of town.
I fuel in Kingman, and then top off in Casa Grande (or reverse when going north).
That gets me to either Beatty NV (northbound) or Deming NM (SB) for cheaper fuel.
I never stop in Vegas. Or Phoenix.
Going north, catch the Interstate 17 in Phoenix until you get to Carefree Highway (AZ 74) west bound, and cut across to Wickenburg, so you can avoid all the stop lights on the part of 93 that goes through Phoenix. Take the through route (3 round-abouts) to avoid the sharp turn in the center of old Wickenburg. There is a rest stop on the south side of W-burg that allows over nighters. Also several RV parks. If you have to have fuel in Wickenburg, there is a large, new "stop and rob" out past the round-abouts.
Southbound, catch 74 just south of Wickenburg about 5 miles, and go east to Interstate 17. Take that, and if going south to Tucson, keep on the 17 and pass under the I-10, until 17 loops around and rejoins the 10 south of town, near the airport. Avoids downtown traffic.
It is a good route, and avoids all that traffic leaving Phoenix on a Friday evening.

I don't know why, but seems like almost EVERY time we pass through Phoenix there is something in the highway!

Good road to travel, 4 lane divided in places, a lot of drivers hauling #$%, going as fast as they can go. It is also pretty scenic.
