I-70, Route 50, and I-80 Through Utah, Nevada and Routes 395 and 44 through NV and CA

Planning a road trip this fall to the PNW. Will be traveling from Arches NP west on I-70, Rt. 50, and I-80 through Utah and Nevada to Reno, then Routes 395 and 44 north to Anderson, CA. Does anyone have suggestions for interesting stops and camping sites along these segments? Will be towing a R-Pod TT. Thanks.

Eureka and Austin, Nevada. Good FS campground at the top of the Toiyabes before Austin. Grimes Point Arch Area. Good camping on Route 44.

Great Basin NP drive up Wheeler Peak, cave tour, and hiking. Steam train ride in Ely with views of Ruth Pit copper mine.

Our favorite private RV park in our month-long trip through Nevada and the Sierras of California was the Gold Ranch Casino RV Park on I-80 west of Reno. Asphalt streets, concrete FHU RV pads, pool, jacuzzi, laundry, fast food, gas station, and near a big Cabella's. Great base for a side trip to Lake Tahoe!
