Information about Storage Insurance

I need information about storage insurance
I have an RV with Canadian, BC plate
I want storage in the winter in California or Nevada.
Someone knows which are requirements to purchase an storage insurance for a Canadian RV in US
If someone has a recommendation of a insurance agency, would help me much

Let me tell you about the "bucket of worms" I ran into in a similar situation. I live in Iowa and had my trailer insurance with the company that has all my policies. I wanted to leave my trailer in Washington State for the winter. In order to be covered, I had to transfer my insurance from my local agent to a agent in Washington to write a new policy and cancel my Iowa based policy. It seems, the trailer must be insured in the State where it physically resides. Not sure how long you are planning on keeping the unit in the "winter storage location, perhaps if it's only for a few months you won't run into the situation I did as I planned on keeping the trailer in Washington for a longer period of time.

Sorry, I don't. Suggest you pick a insurance company you have heard of such as State Farm, Farmers Ins, or simply Google to find a Company and Agent in the state(s) your interested in storing the unit in.

Information about storage insurance.

Live in Pennsylvania, have trailer in South Carolina.
Had no problems getting SC insurance from Geico over the phone with their 800 number.
