Lake George, CO to Ruedi Reservoir
We are planning a trip in August to leave Lake George CO to camp on Ruedi Reservoir. First time we will make this trip. We will be driving an E450 26’ motorhome towing a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4door. This rig struggled on HWY 285 in Denver when we drove to Deckers, CO a couple years ago so we may disconnect to get from Leadville to Minturn.
Hoping to get information and suggestions about driving HWY 24 to I-70, then I-70 to Glenwood Springs, then Frying Pan Road to Little Maud Campground. We’d like to do this all in one day if possible.
Any suggestions for sites and tips for Little Maud, too?
