Moab to St Georges

Need some help with route. 1st big trip. I have I70 from Moab to I15 in Salina. I have gotten mixed opinions on the road grades from Green River to Salina. Biggest grade i have done is a 6%. I have a 32ds class a towing a jeep. Two riders are skiddish with mts. Any advice on road grade% would be greatly appreciated.

If you are concerned with mountains and grades there is a resource that can give you detailed information about any mountain grade. The information comes from a trucker who has driven most of these passes.

I have the iPad directory. There are books and I think online ebooks. The iPad directory is broken into 2 directions. One for the east coast and one for the west coast. I own both.

I find the maps a little crude but once you use them all the info you need is there. Check it out. It may be what you are looking for.

There are a lot of YouTube videos of driving from a dash cam.. Just Google, You tube road 115 Green river to Salina..... I also do not like crazy mountain highways so I try to get a perspective of the road from the drivers view point... I have found many including Albuqurqe to Bloomfiels via 550 and a section of 491. Not sure what else, but try the You Tube.....

Keep- in mind this all Interstate driving. While there are some steep grades up and down once you get past the country called the San Raphael Swell then it's just easy running road. Take your time as there a rest area and a couple of scenic pullouts. You will either be bored to death by the desolate barren land or amazed at the beauty of it.

I have driven I-70 up and over the San Rafael Swell from the east many times in a car, and wouldn't hesitate to take the R-Pod on that route. It's a really nice stretch of interstate and I would be shocked if you had any issues. Fantastic geology also if you're into that.

Note that you pick up I-15 about 55-60 miles west of Salina...
