More Sites and New Reservation System for Yellowstone

I heard this on the radio while headed for work. Thought I'd share with those planning a trip to Yellowstone.

Thanks for sharing that info. Looks like they are responding to a need by making most of the reservations available months in advance but keeping 20% of campsites open for reservations 2 weeks in advance.
It is a bit confusing that some campsites are reserved through recreation.gov and the other five are through Xantera Yellowstone National Park Lodges.

I agree that is confusing! When we visit Yellowstone we typically stay in Cody and day trip into the park. But at least they are making an attempt. The park has been so busy the past two years.
