Newbie looking for campground suggestions in the Cannon Beach/Seaside area of Oregon c

So not *really* a newbie - we owned a 24' travel trailer that we sold about 10 years ago, but the technology has changed a lot in that time.

We bought a 2020 Flagstaff Micro Lite 21DS a few weeks ago, and are planning a couple of shakedown weekends over the next few weeks, and then we want to go to the coast for a week in December to celebrate our anniversary.

When we were doing this fairly regularly in the past, we found that the quality of campgrounds varied wildly - especially on the coast.

I would appreciate any suggestions in the area, based on your own positive experiences. We are open to anywhere between Lincoln City or so to the south, and Astoria to the north. Probably not interested in north of the Columbia for this trip, for various reasons. We'd like to have relatively easy beach access.

Also, looking for a full hookup this time out, mostly to make sure that we get a chance to use/test everything.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I highly recommend the Cannon Beach RV Resort right in Cannon Beach. I have stayed there 4 or 5 times. They are great folks and the park is very nice.

Our favorite Oregon state park is Nehalem Bay. Look it up online. Hundreds of sites, miles long beach that’s never crowded, trails, hundreds of acres.

Cannon Beach RV Resort is walking distance to downtown Cannon Beach. Great place.
