One night camp in New Mexico OK?

Their web site seems to say 2 different things. I'll be going from the Grand Canyon in a couple of days and want to camp one night in the Roswell area. Can I do that now with NC plates?

According to the Department Of Health guidelines, you need to self quarantine for 14 days or the length of your stay which would be one day. https://www.newmexico.org/industry/r...19-impact-faq/
So you should be able to self quarantine in your rv, but you probably should call the campground in advance to confirm.

Private RV parks are fine for out of staters if they have room. All the ones we have seen are full of Texans. So get a reservation.
You just can't enter a state park unless you are a NM resident.
And the quarantine is a farce. No way to track or enforce it. So I wouldn't worry about it. We have been to TX and AZ several times. We quarantined ourselves from family and friends, but it is only the honor system.

We spent a night at a private campground in Deming NM with no problem.

We just came back from 10 days at our Grand kids house in Moriarty NM. Self quarantined in our camper, their new house and the grocery store in Moriarty.

The Quarantine Police were nowhere to be seen.

Moriarty has a grocery store? . Just teasing. Sounds like a fantastic trip to spend that much time with grandkids!

It was great, got to see our Great Granddaughter and our newest Great Granddaughter. Good times!!
