Pittsburgh PA to Yellowstone National Park need some ideas

Planning a trip to Yellowstone leaving Pittsburgh on July 11th 2015 taking a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7hemi and a 31 foot Forest River Salem travel trailer. I plan on making it to Rapid City South Dakota by either late Sunday night or early Monday morning and need a camp ground suggestion so that we can camp two days there to see the sights ( Mount Rushmore Deadwood Sturgis and needles highway) leave Wednesday morning stopping at Devils Tower and make the north gate of Yellowstone by Thursday morning we have reservations at Fishing Bridge campground in the park for Thursday through the following Wednesday( I read somewhere you had to be there early to get your campsite ,if you have reservations will they hold them for you or do you have a time limit to check in?) and then we want to head south through Grand Tetons to Denver arriving there Thursday morning and leaving Denver Friday morning to head back to Pittsburgh so I need campground ideas for Rapid City South Dakota and somewhere around Greeley Colorado.
I don't want to come thru Big Horn cavern with the travel trailer but how far is it from Fishing Bridge through Cody and then to the canyon because I would still like to see it. We were there in 2002 and we're just in awww of it so we want to go back

South of Rapid City by Hill City is the Rafter J Ranch. A friend stayed there last year and is going back again. Said it very nice. Large RV park with multiple little campground. Very central to the sites in the Black Hills.

Campgrounds around the Custer and Hill City area are your best bet for a central location.. I have stayed at the Custer KOA and found it to be OK. Like all CG's it gets real busy mid afternoon and takes a while to settle back down.

Points of interest between Devils Tower and Fishing Bridge I recommend are Little Bighorn (Custer) Battlefield and the Big Horn County museum in Hardin Mt. Give yourself 2+ days to make it from Rapid City to Fishing Bridge.
