Planning question.

We are needing to go to West Texas (from Spokane) in the next couple of weeks or so and I figure this time of year it will be better to go south through California. Need advice on planning overnight stops along the way. We won't be site seeing just traveling, so just need to fix supper, sleep and leave next morning. Thanks for any help.

Cal Expo in Sacramento.
KOA Visalia/Yosemite.
Bear Mountain RV in Bakersfield.
All are easily accessible off 99. Cal Expo and Bear Mountain are no frills lots with hookups.

We've also stayed at county fairgrounds as overnight stops.

I assume you will do 97 to 5.
The Deschutes County fairgrounds and RV Park in Redmond north of Bend was very nice.
There's a KOA in Klamath Falls but we always stay with relatives there.
