Plug for the Black Hills

We've been out to the Black Hills two years in a row now and would HIGHLY recommend Rafter J Bar ranch in Hill City, SD. A great campground, wide open spaces, George S. Mickleson trail runs through it, minutes from Mount Rushmore, great pool and playground (we have two small kiddos). The "Ranch Camp" area is the best - great trees. All you can eat Pancake breakfast available in the mornings. We saw a LOT of different campgrounds, and this one is tops! Happy Camping!

They have no "seasonal sites" - www.rafterj.com is the link to their website.

Thanks for the info on rafterj. We were in the Black Hills last spring, it was great. We stayed at Hart RV Ranch, they had a special 3 nights for $40, it is also fantastic. We will be spending 4 or 5 days in the black hills this July on our way to Canada, I will check out rafterj. Thanks

I was surfing the internet and stumbled on the web site, about this time last year.RV Sites - Hart Ranch Resort This is the site. They will try to sell you a membership. We declined the membership, but the park was great.
