Portland, OR

We are planning a trip to Portland later this year and are wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good campground near the city.

Thanks

We have stayed at a place called VanMall Rv park which is across the river near the Vancouver mall in Vancouver. It was nice enough. As for Portland there is a nice park at Jansen Beach RV park which friends of our really liked and used to visit often. I think it would be my first choice. Outside of that you might try looking at campgroundreviews.com

Silver Falls State Park is a wondrous place, just east of Salem.
though, not exactly in the Portland area, it's about 60 miles away.
but it's an awesome place and Oregonians try to keep it secret.
