Roads are better in Oregon

We just got back from a week in southern Ore. You can tell right away when you cross from CA into Ore. No more potholes and patched roads.
it was a night and day difference!
We went mostly up I5 from Central CA to the Medford area. DR

Oregon does have better roads. Kind of like the smooth filling on an Oreo cookie, sandwiched between to rough cookies (CA and WA roads)

California roads are in tough shape. They make all surrounding states seem better.

Definitely not WA roads. I-5 through Seattle could challenge CA on that score.
