Rocky Mountain National Park off hours access?
It appears that from 5:00am to around 6:00pm, you need reservations to enter the park. And of course, they are fully booked. There is a potential for last minute the day before, but I'm wondering what happens outside of those hours? Do they gate the road? Can you still enter?
My "plan" B is to access the park outside of these hours, and drive through, maybe stopping for a dawn picture or two, but really just passing through, on my way to the entrance of the Cache la Poudre river canyon.
Is this possible?
