Receipt in hand, thanks for all the suggestions. Sonoma County gave us a great place to spend our young years. Looking forward to all the 'remember when' conversations with my brother. Memories - good memories!

Back on the road. Really enjoyed our time in Sonoma County and staying at the Petaluma KOA was a perfect location.

Had lunch at the Union Hotel in Occidental - oh, my, it was perfect. The soup and ravioli's were just as we remembered and the French Bread!!!
Drove Coleman Valley Road out to the coast on a perfect day - blue sky, a few clouds, little wind and NO FOG. Did we luck out or what? Up and down roads, who lived here or there, the old schools (that are left standing), places our folks worked - places we worked during the summers.
Visited Two Rock, Valley Ford, Tomales, Bodega and Bodega Bay.

On the way into the area on 12/116 shed a tear going by Stornettas Dairy.
Ended up on OLD Lakeville Hwy...dang new roads got me confused

Headed north on 101 to Ukiah - stayed at the fairgrounds. They also have several folks who were burned out during the Redwood Valley fire. Sad stories.

So, now I'm near Cottonwood, California for a few days, then will start my trek north to Oregon/Washington and eventually Northern Alberta Canada.

Hope to say howdy to some of you folks along the way.
Thanks for all the info on this thread.
Safe travels.

OldGal, seeing the current state of Stornetta's Dairy also made me sad.
Growing up in Sonoma Valley, we drank Stornettas at school and at home.
Used to take school field trips there.
