Traveling Hwy 1 up the western coast

We drive a 26 ft Lexington, would like to leave the tow home. Would that be possbile and still see the areas from California to Washington. Thanks

well, you can do it BUT there might be times when You would enjoy More sightseeing then you can for a half a day or so, if you want to spend a few hours in the morning looking around befor you head out, or after you get set for the night an wantr to go out for dinner, like you know, You can do it But

don't see why not, if you're staying on the coast.

only areas i wouldn't take a MH are on parts of Highway 1: from Hearst Castle to Carmel, from north of the Golden Gate Bridge to Bodega Bay and from Fort Bragg to Leggett.
unless you have a short MH.

Highway 101 will be fine for any length of MH.

Well, since Hwy 1 is a California road and does not go into Oregon or Washington you might try Hwy 101 instead!

I agree with bikendan that some area are not suited to a MH, but your's seams to be short enough not to have too many problems. Northern CA on up the roads can get very twisty along the coast with sharp ups & downs. As to your tow some smaller towns (Carmel, etc) there would be no place for your MH and you would need the tow to site-see. I would make sure there are good skids under the back to protect your drain pipes...
