It really wasn't anything. There were certainly vehicles/people around. At the one stop with multiple arches, we seemingly got "the last spot", but we didn't have to drive through the parking area a second time.

I guess it would have been Monday, March 27th that we were there. Not much was torn up at all. Obviously the visitor count AND the construction has progressed quite a bit in 9 days.

Though the news and traffic looks less than ideal the only option we have is to make the best of it and work around whatever comes up. We are going in June as noted earlier and to much planning has taken place so far. No turning back now Martha

I recommend them, but have to admit the owner and manager are friends of mine.
So, family discounts for all forum members? :-)

Update, we got in last Friday at 9:30 am with no line at all. When we went by towards Canyonlands on Saturday, there were ~35 in line. When we pulled out and went by on Sunday (Mother's Day), the line was a lot longer. We saw signs of construction but I think they stopped work on Friday due to expected crowds. On Friday, lots were nearly full but we found spots, using a rental car.

We just returned from Moab visiting Canyonlands and Arches. Due to excessive heat I think the crowds were down. Only one time was a parking lot full and that was at double Arch
