White knuckle drive?

We have a 22 ft Micro Lite TT and the diesel 2500 and plan on camping at Glacier St Mary early August 2016. we are then planning on going to Lewiston, ID. We have a route selected as leaving St Mary and going 89 to 287 to 200 to Missoula then catching 12 to Lewiston, ID. We have one stop planned at a campground about 60 miles south of Missoula. Any info on this route or portions of it would be greatly appreciated.

That is a great drive don't understand the white knuckle header. it is an easy drive along the river much of the way. There are many places to dry camp along that route.
