Yosemite to the Redwoods and home

We are planning a trip from Lenexa, Kansas to the Sequoia NP, then to Yosemite NP, then to Redwoods NP. We then want to head home through Oregon and Montana and are wondering what places we should visit along the way. My wife and I are late 60's & 73 so we don't do a lot of hiking anymore. Any suggestions would be very helpful in our planning.

First thing I suggest, is to make reservations as soon as possible. ESPECIALLY for Yosemite.
The Oregon Coast is great and Oregon's state parks are probably the best in the country.
