Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway Closed Due to Rockslide

The road is closed from the Zion National Park east entrance to Canyon Junction. This includes both tunnels. There is no ETA on reopening. The USGS has been called in to determine stability.

No traffic can enter or leave the park via the east entrance. Use alternate routes until reopened.

Still closed Saturday morning. Alternate exit and exit vid Hurricane or Cedar City depending on direction of travel.
