110 on inverter

Hi All, In my 2013 Georgetown should my 119 outlets be on when the inverter is on? My fridge fires up but no outlets. Any suggestions?

No, at least mine aren't working. Just the Residential Fridge is plugged into the Inverter. I have a 2015 Georgetown 328TS.

The only way I can get power on the 110VAC plugs is to fire up the generator or plug into shore power.

I wonder how you would go about hooking up an in line invertor to run off the 12 bolt batteries to 120 volt outlets like TV and fans.

Usually the installed inverter is sized to the loads hooked up to it.

More loads equals larger inverter.

My 2013 378XL only has a 1000 watt inverter for fridge only.
So I added an extra 1000 watt inverter and an extra transfer switch just for the TV plugs.
I can show you pics later today of you like

That would be great! Thanks! I'm working out of my MH several days a week now (take the kids to swim team practice 30 min away for 3 hours and work in the parking lot) and I'd like to run my laptop and monitor without having to fire up the gennie. :-)

I tied the transfer switch into the power line going to the power outlets for the entertainment systems.

We love it cause now we can watch TV and listen to music going down the highway without firing up the generator

My 2016 came with a 2k inverter. I just ran another line from that and wired it to the breaker that controls the TV, and a few more outlets on that side of the RV. OF course you need another transfer switch too. There are a couple of great thread on here about doing this. That is where I got the info from.

I wished mine had a 2000 watt inverter it would have made it a lot easier and cheaper.
Unfortunately all they seemed to put in 2013 Georgetown models were 1000 watt.

There are several threads in this section of the forum on how to power all the non gfci outlets in the Georgetown's with the existing inverter, if you have a 2k, or by adding a 1k inverter.
