18 GT5 windshield

My GT5 windshield started cracking from the bottom curved part of the windshield on the drivers side. (2’ long) This started while auto leveling. Has anyone had this problem? Anyone replace one and what the cost was?

I had to replace the windshield in my old class A and I believe that the insurance covered the entire cost with no deductible. check your policy to be sure.

Just had mine replaced a few months ago. $375.00 deductible. I think the labor was around $900.00. Not sure how much the windshield itself cost. That wasn’t on the bill.

I was thinking that I had heard the windshields were around $2500-$2700.

In Ohio I have specific "full" windshield coverage on the motorhome and I think the deductible is $50. Otherwise it would be the comprehensive deductible.

I have no idea how accurate this site is:

State Laws on windshield replacement & repair

Arizona (AZ) – There is an optional “full glass” or “safety equipment” coverage that you can purchase, which pays for windshield repairs with no deductible. [Source] Aftermarket parts can be used, but the insurer must provide written notice that aftermarket parts are being used. You have right to choose who does repair, and maybe whether it is replaced or repaired.
