2012. Georgetown 378. Storm/ screen door replacement...

I desperately new new storm/ screen door. Original is pretty flimsy...would like to locate one with full glass/ plexiglass so can be opened for more light.🌞🌳🌷

Any ideas where or how...
Thanks for your thoughts!

I know the 378 is one of the most popular models of Georgetown.

If you take a picture of the door, especially the hinges, and include the measurements, other people with a 378 would be able to tell you if there's any changes. If there isn't, pretty safe bet Forest River could supply a replacement.

BTW....most screen doors are pretty flimsy, and one of the best and cheapest things to strengthen it is to install the screen door cross bar available at Camping World for about $10.

Yes people have done what you said.
I have seen RAMAIR's door that had plexiglass installed in place of the screen. The only downfall is that you loose the screen and have solid plexiglass.
The door is more ridged and seems to open easier and close.

I believe he got a local screen door guy to do it in Abilene Texas.
If you take it off and take to a screen door shop I'm sure they will do it.
I believe he paid about $100 to have it done.

we added tinted plexiglass to ours and made the screen door stiffer and can leave the main door open and not worry about anything. I had a glass shop do this for me and the cost was approx. $125.00 they cut and installed. The way ours is you can not use the screen no more but we did not worry about that. Its solid and I will upload picture from the outside and then the inside. Hope they will help.
