2013 Georgetown 378 water pump light

Light on the water pump switch went out. Presuming its just a bulb and wondering if anyone knows bulb number without me taking the whole main board apart to find out?

Thanks

I believe the switchlight bulb uses wire leads that are soldered into the switch and are not replaceable. The panel is held in place with 6 screws and is easily removed to allow the switch to be pushed out the front of the panel by compressing the tabs on each end of the switch assembly. There is no involvement with electronics and all simple tasks to change the switch will be evident once the panel is removed.

So would need a soldering iron? Oh boy, maybe I will just work with no light. Thanks for the help, wasn't expecting that scenario though.

No the bulb is non replaceable. The switch has to be replaced. The switch is not expensive and readily available. Replacing the switch is not rocket science and a 10 year old could do it. So can you. Good luck.

The back side of your panel is very similar to this. when you drop it out all the wires will be attached and the switch in question and its removal will be clear. The wire are attached to the switch via terminals.

The light is in the switch, as a complete assembly.no soldering required. Remove the panel, unplug the wires, push out the bad switch, put in the new one, reconnect the wires, put the panel back in place. You are done. ...... ta da....

Humm, remember seeing a post a while back where the replacement bulb type was give and the bulb was replaceable, I've never checked personally but I do have to switches that have the bulbs out. Thought I might tackle that next time we are out.

Don't know if yours is same as my '15, but here is a picture of a spare switch I carry, ordered a couple when mine went out. No bulb replacement, I think it's an LED. Unscrew switch panel then push on top and bottom of backside of switch and push forward through the switch panel. Swap out wires and push switch back into the panel. Click image for larger version

Also just for some information if the water pump fuse blows then you monitor to the battery and the LP tank will read Empty, don't ask me whey I know blew another 15 amp fuse and used the water pump fuse till I got replacement, and noticed this and of course you think the worst first after 1 hr trouble shooting at 11:30 at night it hit me.
