2013 Georgetown XL 378 from shade motor failure

Front motorized shade not working , makes a slight sound but no movement , any help would be appreciated

Even though your RV wasn't in the recall, you might want to do the recall fix. It could be your problem. if you hear the motor still turning. If you kinda handy, it's not too hard of a job to do yourself. Here's the info and fix instructions: https://dealers.forestriverinc.com/d...-Documents.pdf

Thanks for the info , but can someone tell me where the shade reset button is hidden , can’t find it and want to try that first

Should be tucked up near the left side of the roller looking out the windshield.

You could have either an MCD shade or an Irvine shade. Here are the 2 links for each

I definitely do not have a reset button for my shade , not sure why some do and mine doesn’t

Haven't heard of a GT 378 that doesn't. It's hard sometime to find being jammed up in the end like it should be. Did you see the wires at the end of the roller? The wires on the switch may be long enough to be hidden behind the window pillar cover. I'm assuming you looked at the links to see what it looks like.

It has one, It has too! Probably tucked up inside the valance?

Found reset button behind shade track cover , unfortunately reset was not my issue, didn’t work
