2014 Georgetown XL Front Shade Stopped Working

While camping our front shade stopped retracting at about 2/3rd of the way up. The motor makes a repetitive beep when activated but will not move. Has anyone had this issue before or have any suggestions as to next steps. Thanks for any help in advance.

You'll likely need to reprogram it. Here's the instructions.

My guess is someone may have manually pulled it down about 1/3 of the travel.

Question Where's the button

HI,
I have the same problem. I can't find the button to press up there to make it go into "memory mode". I have the directions, but if I can't find the "setting key/learning wire switch".

My shade is stuck about 1/2 way down...

Do I need to remove anything to find the button? Is it on the end of the power shade, or is it on the side? is it round etc? Anyone have a picture they can upload?

Sorry, I'm stuck on this . Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Take the plastic trim piece off that is on the left (driver) side of the shade. It's the piece with the groove in it that guides the shade. Once off, you'll see the wires/button tucked up in there. There are about 5 screws that are all located in the groove.

I can find the button location. In my case the shade goes up, but does not go down. Next step to drop the blind and search for the button, but I thought I check with the experts here.

First two pictures are the driver side, photos 3 and 4 are the passenger side.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Remove plastic

Hi, for me to get mine to work I had to remove the left column vertical upright piece. And uncover all the wires from the dashboard to the the blinds. Behind that plastic piece was the button and it is hanging on a wire. It was dangling from the shade and tucked behind the vertical upright piece I removed
