2016 furnace issues

Hello...
We are new to the Forest River and out in campground for a few days shaking down our new to us 2016 Georgetown XL 377.

The unit has dual furnace, front and back. When the hallway thermostat is turned to heat at an appropriate temp setting to ensure the furnace will turn on - the rear unit does not operate at all (no blower or other action) and the front unit the blower comes on but is not warm.

LP Gas is turned on as the stove lights and the water heater fires appropriately. I confirmed the rear furnace fuse is good.

ideas? I will of course be having the dealer address if need be, but would like to avoid that lengthy process if possible.

Thanks in advance

Question, are you sure you have a rear furnace.

My thermostat in the rear says furnace, however my unit does not have a rear furnace. The duct work from the main furnace runs through out. I did replace the floor dampers with adjustable units.

My overhead AC units have heat strips in them and work until temps reach around 40 -45 degrees.

That would be heat pump air conditioners. A heat strip shut off temp would be the thermostat selected temp, not ambient temp.

Yours is likely like mine. I have tow thermostats. Both have a furnace and heat strip setting. The hallway thermostat controls the one and only furnace. The furnace setting in the back really does nothing. When the furnace comes on the heat is pumped through round vents near the floor. Mine are by the door, the hallway and in the bedroom. While the overhead vents may come on, they aren’t the real source of hot air. As an option you can also turn on the heat strips. Those are little electric heaters in your AC units and they do provide some heat. I use those while driving in cold weather as I don’t like my propane on while moving. They won’t handle very cold weather but they do take the chill off coldish weather. Hope this helps.
