2016 Georgetown 364ts and the Toad

We just arrived back from a 2100 mile adventure. We have never pulled a Toad until this trip. What an amazing difference in the rig. Without the Toad it was a love hate relationship. The motorhome was all over the road even after a steering stabilizer depending on wind and trucks. With the Toad attached it was solid, strong and one handed driving. A truly stunning transformation. A great trip. I think the motorhome needed a buddy. We had a blast.

Sounds great and glad the trip worked out for you. I too have always thought my rig handles cross winds and bad roads better with the dolly and toad attached than without.

If you haven't done the CHF, this may improve your handling significantly.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

Well we added the steering stabilizer, confirmed the tire pressures and added a $32000 Jeep ......I think it works. But seriously, I wonder how many people immediately hook up the toad? The only reason why I know it's a significant difference was driving it for a year without a Toad. It's really unbelievable. I truly wasn't sure how it was going to land based off of the previous driving experiences when we added the jeep.

Thanks for that exchange of information. I'm looking at a dolly and dragging my wifes inherited 99 Ford Escort 2 door fun coupe that her mother had as her last car, it's like new, very low miles. so it has been elected for the duty mostly because it's the only front wheel drive we own. I will be giving it a road test soon.
