2016 Georgetown 364TS Source of electrical power

I have a few questions related to the relationship between the various sources of electricity in the coach. I apologize if some of these questions seem elementary.
1) why does the coach battery disconnect switch (by the door) have to be throw before the generator will start?

2) why does the inverter sometimes start producing AC current automatically when the Onan generator is started but sometimes needs to be manually turned on?

3) it seems that the alternator will not power the commercial refrigerator when driving unless the coach battery disconnect switch is closed (turned on)?

4) related question -- when the alternator on the Triton V10 is providing power for the refrigerator is it sending that power to the inverter for conversion to AC or is there another inverter on the coach producing AC?

If anyone knows some factory literature on this topic I can read please then direct me there instead of using your time to enlighten me. Thanks
