2022 Georgtown GT7 Bunkhouse

First trip, drove 900 miles, set up. Bunk was lowered and then raised. Front bunk won't come down again. It is unbuckled, key is on, fuse in battery compartment is good. Connections appear good at the key switch.
Don't know what else to do. Don't want to take it in. We are here for a month and everything is in the motorhome.
Help?

Which precise fuse did you check? The power bunk fuse almost always is stuck way back at the rear of the compartment and either stuck in the wire bundle or maybe hanging out a bit. The power bunk fuse is NOT one of the fuses directly connected to the house batteries.

If the fuse you checked is not a 15 or 20 amp you did not check the correct one. FWIW, FR seems to have installed 15 amp fuses for a while when the installation manual calls for a 20 amp.

If you piled anything on top of the power bunk other than maybe very soft, thin pillows you likely blew the fuse when you ran the bunk up.

Alternately, you should have gotten a little tool with a white wheel on it but few dealers know what it's for. It's a tool to manually spin the motor on the power bunk so you can raise it or lower it without power.

You'll likely have to remove the motor cover on the bottom of the bunk unless FR finally started drilling a small hole in the cover to use the tool without removing the motor cover.

Thanks for the reply.
It was the 15 amp fuse at the back kinda intermixed with larger wire bundle. I misrepresented in the fact that the fuse was blown but I replaced it.
After set up, we lower the bunk to see how things looked for a pending visit later. Didn't even crawl up put anything on it or get the ladder yet. 30 minutes later, I raised it back up. Upon trying to lower it yesterday, it would not operate. I checked the fuse. Replaced the fuse, but nothing.
Any ideas? Only thing we changed after raising it up was a re-leveling and swinging the captain's chairs around to face the rear.

Just che ked again. We did not receive the tool to manually operate the bunk.

If you have a set of Allen wrenches you could do it the slow way.

Do you have a voltmeter and know how to use it?

I got it.
It was the buckle.
A few clicks and it's working.
I think it was stuck.
Won't buckle it till we leave and gave the dealer look at it.

Good work. Yeah, when we got ours I would try to lower the bunk while forgetting to undo the buckle. Good thing it does have an electrical interlock even though it caused you a problem.

Glad you found the problem.

Those fuses in the battery bay are not labeled, I have three or four there.

When doing our PDI, the tech said there isn't a limit switch to turn the power off to the motor when you lower to use or raise to store. So it is easy to blow the fuse.
