Loud popping noise from the left front when turning left or right at slow speeds (not at full lock). Any thoughts or ideas?

Normally a popping noise when turning is a Tie Rod or King Pin bearing.

Once you stop turning the steering wheel does it keep popping as the wheel is rolling?

No, just one pop at a 1/4 of a turn with the wheel when moving slow.

A wheel bearing can pop when it's put in sheer but it would keep doing it as long as the wheel is rolling.

Since it only pops once, check the steering universal joint when you're checking the tie rods and king pin bearings.

Also check the torque on the front and rear sway bar brackets and links. With the V10 they were torqued at 66 ft lbs. There are multiple reports of loose bolts on the new V8 chassis sway bars.
