30 Amp Camp
I am about to set up on a 30A site (I have only used 50A before) for a couple of family members that are visiting for a few days.
It’s my assumption that I will only be able to run 1 of the AC units (I think the dealer advised me of this, but not sure).
Is this the case? It is safe to assume that one TV and a few DC lights will probably be turned on most of the time…

You are correct in your assumptions.
TV, a few lights, and ONE AC. If you try 2 ACs you will probably trip the pedestal breaker.

Yes. One AC, some lights and a TV are about all you can run at once on a 30A site. You may even have to go as far as turning off the AC to run the microwave or any other high current appliances such as electric heaters and hair dryers.

DISREGARD THE FOLLOWING but leaving the post so the subsequent replies make sense...
If you've got a regular household 15 or 20 amp outlet near the 30 amp, you can use one of these dogbones to increase your available amps. But you'd probably be pushing it to try to use both A/Cs.

PopFla, we have discussed these so called "cheater" adapters as you posted several times before. The literature with them will state that they will not work with a GFCI outlet (this has to do with the shared neutral between the two cords feeding the 50 amp part). The problem is, that by code, most 15/20 amp outlets you will find outside and/or at a campground pedestal will be the GFCI type...thus this cheater adapter will not work. Just letting you know.
EDIT: I looked up the same site you posted. You can see at the bottom of the description it does not work with GFCI Outlets.

In addition to Wmtire's comments, it is very probable that the wiring to the pedestal is protected upstream by another 30A breaker in a locked location. If that is tripped by using more than 30A at the pedestal, it could be a problem especially if occurs after hours as it may not get reset until the next day.

Try using propane to heat your water rather than the electric. That will help. Maybe turn off the air while you are using the microwave.

Points taken, gentlemen. Disregard my post about this adapter.
But just an FYI - - I have stayed at several older campgrounds where the 15/20 outlet has not been GFCI protected although I agree it should be.
