When I picked up the motorhome from the Ford dealer (they replaced a faulty wire to the EGR valve) I noticed a new strange noise. It was intermittent, not related to movement, braking, or anything else I could pin down. I wondered what those Ford techs had done to my new motorhome!
When I got home I asked the wife to go for a ride to see if she could isolate the source. As she was coming to the motorhome, with the engine off but the key in the run position I heard the noise again. The mystery increased - the thot plickened!
With both of us listening we were able to connect the gusts of wind to the noise. My wife was perplexed when I asked her to go behind the vehicle and yell at me.
Yep, it was the first windy day in the camper and I didn't know that we had audio feed in the rear view camera!
Mystery solved!
