351 DS with Outdoor TV questions

2015 351 DS with Outdoor TV to be received soon - very excited but have questions about hooking up satellite tv.

Getting a Winegard Minimax 8000s dish installed on roof. If I install a directv receiver in the compartment over the passenger seat and set the switch to SAT will all 3 tvs (bedroom, living room and outdoor) be able to watch the same program? I really only care about the outdoor tv and the living room tv.
If not - does the outdoor tv need its own receiver?

When using a sat receiver, all TV's show the same program. I hooked my sat up to the "cable in" plug in the left rear compartment, and I had to set my selector switch to "cable", not sat.

Thanks for the reply. Is that a portable satellite or roof mounted?

Portable - we camp down here in the Southeast where there are too many trees for a rooftop mount.
Note: if you use Dish, there is an app to locate the sats called Dishformyrv

I have a dish mounted on the roof of our 351DS. I made a huge mistake of getting 2 receivers and the in- motion dish that will let your kids watch TV while on the road. The problem with getting 2 receivers and in motion technology is you only have 1 dish that can connect too one satellite. When you try to sync up its almost impossible to watch TV on both unless the channels are on the same satellite. But, in motion works pretty well for one. Ours was mounted on the roof directly over the passenger seat next to the driver and its loud when you are sitting still in the campground. If the signal weakens it will start rotating to find the satellite. I wish I had just gotten 1 receiver and a tailgater, much simpler.

I have a portable with my DirecTV - hooked up to the cable outlet and get on all 5 TV's (bunks, master, living & outdoor). We have the over head bunk and it can make it interesting trying to change the channel when that is down!
