378 hydraulic lines

Help! We’ve replaced the motor on our hydraulic pump for our slides & jacks on our 2011 Georgetown 378. Although we marked the hydraulic lines as accurately as possible in the oily mess, we can’t get the jacks up fully or the slides in.
We’re thinking the lines could be attached incorrectly.
Does anyone know the proper sequence? Or have pics of their motor & pump set up (under the steps) that shows which hose goes where?
Yes, we’ve reached out to Lippert. Heard nothing back.
Thank you.

Sounds like you are implying that they move a bit. That sounds promising. These systems are self bleeding and you may have to exercise them several times to get all the air out so that they function properly.
If they are indeed in the wrong positions, LCI should be able to help. I have had the best luck by calling their tech support phone number.

Open this and scroll down to drawing 149087. It is for the GT378 and does correspond to my 2012 GT378.

Thx for the reply. Your link shows 2 pumps close to ours but nothing exact. In all our searching we have yet to find a drawing or pic that represents our motor/pump assembly. No markings/numbers/name on our pump at all.
We contacted Lippert by phone only to be told that they could help with jacks but that FR would be the only place to help with the slides. (Our jacks are up enough to drive the Moho now, but our bedroom slide remains out after numerous attempts to retract it.)
We contacted FR & they insist that only Lippert can help us.
We just need to get the Moho drivable so we can get it to a dealership where hopefully someone can unravel the pump-hydraulic lines mystery.
So far, not impressed with Forest River or Lippert. The Moho is a giant paperweight at the moment.

I'd really try extending and retracting multiple times. When we replaced a single hose on the main slide on our XL378 it took a number(half dozen) of attempts to get the air out. If you have disconnected the hoses from the manifold, I suspect NMWildcat is correct and it will take multiple tries on pretty much all of the system individually. The good news is they are self purging.
And keep an eye on the fluid level.

Putting the slides in & out to purge the lines would be great if they would move, but nothing is working. There are 3 buttons for the 3 slides. None work right now. All electrical has been checked & rechecked with meter. The motor runs but the slides don’t move.

If the pump (motor) runs when you press the slide switch and the slide doesn't move it would appear the fluid level may be low. The fluid reservoir is supposed to be filled with all the slides in and the jacks fully retracted but fluid being low will not allow that to happen. Just a thought.

The fact that the motor runs when the slide switch is pressed indicates the electrical interconnect to the trombetta (relay that selects which direction the motor (pump) should run) relay from the switch is good.

You could try the manual override by turning the 1/8" allen screw in the end of the slide valve clockwise to see if a slide moves when the switch is pressed. Don't know which valve is for which slide but all three slide switches should be tested. If slide comes in return allen screw to fully counterclockwise after fully retracted.

We’ve done the manual override. We got 1 slide to come in cleanly that way. The larger slide started to come in crooked & we adjusted the 2 rams on it to get it straightened out. Then after many efforts it finally retracted manually using a drill. That was when we decided to remove the motor/pump assembly thinking the motor might be faulty. It was. One of the brushes was broken.
Knowing which hydraulic line goes to which valve is our issue now. Bedroom slide was retracted & then slid out on its own when we tried to move the Moho to a service center.
Hoping someone with a 2011 378 might have a pic of their assembly to guide us. FR did finally send us a pic but it is not the same as our pump. Our double valves are different. Not sure how relevant that is.

Just an update. Disconnected the hydraulic lines from the bedroom slide & pushed it in by hand. Placed the bars on the top of all 3 slides. Then carefully drove to town where we can get it looked at by a repair shop on the 25th.
While waiting, we marked every line & wire.
All the drawings, pics & schematics we’ve been sent by Lippert do not match our assembly. They are adamant that its FR who should be helping us ascertain the line locations. Nothing from FR has matched either. We must have the most unique motor/pump assembly ever made.

We got a pressure gauge to test the pump itself. Pump is not working. Fixed the motor. Now it’s the pump.

As a starting point, check the hyd reservoir and insure it has enough fluid. If the jacks are down, see if you can raise them. Finally, go underneath and check that the motor to the hyd pump is actually attached. We were on our way to Moab and when putting out our jacks at the Cracker Barrel in Cedar City, all we had was the motor running. The two attachment bolts had worked loose, with one deciding it needed to run away. Bolts are 1/4 20x1" by the way.
