AC while driving

I thought I read this here that you can run down the road with the generator running to power 1 or 2 AC units. Tried to run the front unit while leaving Phoenix last Friday and it tripped the breaker after a couple miles. Tried to run the rear unit and it did the same thing. Both units run great while standing still. Before I take it into the dealer to have it checked, thought I would make sure I should be able to do this. We have a 2012 Georgetown 360.

Haven't had any issues with running either one or both AC units with the generator while driving.

Which breaker is tripping? The one inside the coach or one on the generator?

Welcome Glamping
I also live in Surprise AZ and I have no problem running my front AC unit while driving. No tripped breakers.

I thought it was a problem. It is tripping the breaker inside. Well I guess it's off to the dealer. Still under warranty.

The same thing happened this Summer on our 2006 Georgetown (34ft). It was 95-100 and it would trip the AC after about 20 minutes. It posted this earlier and had some good replies. We did this on an earlier RV and it worked fine.

We've run both units a few times, one a lot.
It will shut down on BIG Interstate bumps, usually starts right back up.
