Acme tow dolly with 35 ft Georgetown

We are brand new so I apologize up front. We have a new FR Georgetown 5 Series. 35 feet. Just got the dolly and will use my wife’s Mini Cooper as the toad. All is set up with a 14 inch drop and the bottom of the ball screwed on the hitch barely scraped as I pulled out of the driveway.
While it could have been the drive angle, anyone see a problem with the setup?
Thanks

I took a Prius on a dolly behind my 38' XL. I scrape on occasion too. The coach overhang behind the rear wheels makes it unavoidable.

I scrape on the skid brackets. I don't drag though, that's for RuPaul

I had an acme before switching to 4 down. Loved the dolly.....just remember to make sure the tire pressure is correct, always....i had 2 tire blow outs on a trip cross country......i would get 2 tires and rims as spares....we had to wait a day and a half for a spare in utah

Unavoidable. I have the same happen infrequently with my 32’ class C and the Acme. Try to enter and exit sloped driveways at an angle to reduce the chance of it happening.
