Adding vent

My 350 came with only one AC unit. Installed over the living area. Since then I installed another AC unit over the main bed. But I miss having the vent back there.

Does anyone have experience installing a vent where there wasn't one before? Is it neccacery to build a curb of wood and install it between the roof and ceiling? Where the vent was there is a nice metal structure, I assume to support the weight and clamping force of the AC unit.

AAre there longitudinal (port <-> starboard running) metal supports in the ceiling? If so how do I cut a hole and make sure I miss them. Maybe somebody has a diagram of how the roof is constructed? Or do we know the measurements of these supports? i.e. 16" on center

Are there any other things I need to know, other than just cutting the proper holes and sealing everything up with dicor. I've replaced all the vents in my 350 myself and installed an AC unit myself, so I'm very familiar with the steps involved there.

We're now looking to do the same with our 2007 Georgetown SE 350DS Bunk. Did you happen to get the diagrams/information you needed to add the AC unit?

ai have thought of adding a Fantastic Fan inplace of the chincy vent fan in the bathroom. Then install a louvered grill in the lower part of the bathroom foor. The bedroom window open, fantastic fan on med to high and Voila, fresh air hurricane.
