AM/FM antenna loose

We can’t get any stations in so I went up top and our antenna is loose. Anyone know how to tighten it or take it off?

I’m assuming it has worked for reception in the past?

When you say it’s loose, do you recall hitting anything overhead?

There may be different styles of antennas. Mine has a spring loaded base, and then attached to its base, which is attached to the roof and covered in lap sealant.

Any chance you can provide a picture?

The antenna just spins though. There is a screw at the joint so you could angle the antenna

Ok update. This is on a 364TS. I pulled the antenna off and tightened everything which was loose. I tested all 3 radios in the camper (dash, whole home over door, and outdoor Jensen) the dash one is the only one that gets a few stations. The over entrance door gets 1 station and the outdoor one gets nothing.
Anyone have any ideas before I start tearing this thing apart? Do they all share and antenna? Are they spliced together? Is it a powered antenna?

Ok....here’s how radios work on mine.

The roof antennae you photographed (great job by the way) is the exact same model I have. It ONLY feeds my in dash radio. I suspect there’s only the one coax running direct from the roof to the radio unit.....probably runs down inside the wall just behind the driver’s seat maybe? or the front left pillar in front of the driver’s seat? I see openings in the lap sealant.....is it broken off just under the sealant?

All other radios (I only have one other) have their own independent antennae. On my model, there’s only a small gauge wire for an antenna.....pretty pathetic though.

I actually pulled that roof antenna off. All of the wires and connections were loose and then reattached everything. Must just be weak antennas in the other 2 radios then huh?

Other two radios possibly set up as follows which is standard for many RVs

FM. Via the powered roof top TV antenna. Try turning on the power button for the tv antenna amplifier.
AM short wire that hangs out the back of the radio. Most are shipped with this Coiled up and wrapped. May just need to be stretched out.

Thanks. I did switch the controller in the front to the different modes but never turned the TV antenna on. Is that where the FM is fed to? I did work with the FM antenna as pictured. You’re thinking it runs to the TV antenna?
